Fears and phobias

Phobias are very common and at least 12% of the adult population suffer from a phobic response at some point in their life. Phobias can be caused by a previous experience which caused acute anxiety or can be learned from parents and caregivers in early childhood.

Treatment is provided over four sessions using the rewind and reframe method developed by Richard Bandler. This is a non-intrusive method and we do not use regression techniques. The rewind process enables the client to dissociate the emotional aspect of the learned response. The ‘reframe’ enables the client to define and apply a more neutral response to the stimulus.
